Meet The President
Girls Gone Golfing started as a joke.
You know when your husband says, “I’m going golfing with the guys, I’ll be back in a little bit”… and then somehow “a little bit” turns into most of the day? They’re out golfing, having a few drinks, hanging out with their friends and having the best time.
So naturally, I thought… why don’t the girls get a day like that too?
What started as a group of ladies saying, “YES, let’s have a girls’ golf day!” quickly turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
Fun fact: I had never even been to a golf tournament before I hosted the very first Girls Gone Golfing tournament. I truly had no idea what I was getting myself into, but the excitement behind the idea took off FAST.
Today, Girls Gone Golfing is proudly a 501(c)(3) nonprofit hosting biannual ladies charity scrambles that bring women together, introduce new ladies to the game of golf and, most importantly, raise money that goes directly back into the communities around us.
One of my favorite things about GGG is seeing women pick up a golf club who may have otherwise felt intimidated by the game. There are no pros and no pressure here. Just women getting outside, having fun with their friends, making new ones and realizing that golf can be for them too.
Somehow, this crazy little idea has turned into an incredible community of women who genuinely enjoy showing up, having a blast and helping us give back while they do it.
As for me, I’m a proud wife and mama to three young kids, so apparently I looked at my already very full plate and thought, you know what this needs? A nonprofit.
But I wouldn’t change it. I’ve poured my heart into GGG, and watching what it has become has made every late night, crazy idea and packed schedule worth it.
And the best part? I truly feel like we’re just getting started.
Meet the Commitee
These are the women behind the scenes who help keep Girls Gone Golfing moving forward. They are mamas, wives, business owners, employees and volunteers with already full plates, yet they continue to dedicate their time, talents and energy to this nonprofit.
Each woman brings something unique to the table, and together they have helped GGG grow, dream bigger, accomplish more and make an even greater impact in the communities we serve.
From planning tournaments and finding sponsors to organizing donations, tackling community projects and bringing all of our crazy ideas to life, these women put in countless hours behind the scenes.
They all share the same goal: bring women together, create something special and use it as an opportunity to give back.
GGG would not be what it is today without the incredible women who help make it all happen.

Our Mission
The mission of Girls Gone Golfing is simple: bring women together, have a really great time and use that time together to do something good for our community.
Our ladies charity scrambles are intentionally fun, welcoming and low pressure. You do not have to be a great golfer. You do not even have to consider yourself a golfer. GGG is about grabbing your best girlfriends, getting out of the house, spending a day on the course, laughing way too much and knowing that while you are having fun, you are also helping make a difference.
What happens after the tournament is just as important as what happens on the course.
Funds raised through Girls Gone Golfing are poured directly back into the communities around us. Because of the support of our golfers, sponsors and donors, GGG has been able to give back to the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville, Gainesville Golf Academy, True Tumbling, Easy Street Animal Shelter and Abigail’s Arms, as well as sponsor youth golfers attending summer camp through Friends of Indian Oaks.
Our impact goes beyond monetary donations. We have helped clear the classroom wish lists of more than 40 local teachers, supported youth sports and extracurricular opportunities, provided food and needed supplies to Easy Street Animal Shelter, and helped sponsor other events and projects that directly benefit children, women, families and animals throughout our surrounding communities.
GGG proves that giving back does not have to feel formal or complicated. Sometimes it looks like a course full of women spending the day with their best friends, having an absolute blast while doing a whole lot of good.
No pros. No pressure. Just the girls, a great time and an even greater purpose.
Our Purpose
We believe golf should be approachable, empowering, and impactful. Our events are designed to remove the pressure often associated with the sport and replace it with laughter, friendship, and giving back. Girls Gone Golfing exists to create space for women of all skill levels to enjoy the game while making a real difference in the communities we serve.
